You can say love is sightless so you may overlook the difference in age while falling in love. In early days it was nothing very odd for aged men marrying teenage girls.
Even most of the mills and boons romance stories which are most popular among girls of any age, also portray such fictions where most of the dashing tall dark handsome guys are seen persuading and romancing young girls most of whom are below or in their earlier twenties.
Even modern day world has seen many people including celebrities marrying those who are either mush older than them or much younger than them.
But dating is a different issue. Dating is the circumstance where two people go out with each other. It can be a blind date where no body knows the other or it can be a date where the man and the woman may know each other from some online community.
Dating can also be fixed through some agencies that offer the service and arrange the meeting. Sometimes such rendezvous between two unknown people can even make them lifetime partners. Dating can take place for quite a few more days or may stop if the first meeting is a disaster.
But a serious point that has to be thought over is whether age differences in dating really matters in these days. Many people mainly go for dating for having some frolic. But should a very young girl go on a date with a forty year old man. It will probably be not safe for such decision.
And same goes for women who are meeting boys of much young age than her. Age differences in dating should be a major concern for the parents and they must keep track on their children about where they are going or with whom are they meeting.
